Organic Comfrey Salve

Savvy Sage Comfrey Salve is handcrafted from our own organic Comfrey leaves harvested in Summer and extracted with top quality organic Olive Oil from our extended family farm in Greece. The Comfrey rich oil is set into a salve with beeswax.

Comfrey is a plant that contains a growth stimulant, which causes massive cell growth and repair in all damaged tissues.This is particularly helpful when ever tissue or bone damage has occurred and explains its nickname Knit Bone. Comfrey also contains a substance that depresses the secretion of the primary triggers for inflammation. This is why comfrey is considered an anti-inflammatory agent. Comfrey has a high mucous content, acting as a lubricant, making it extremely helpful in the lubrication of joints.
